Activities at the Meat Cook-Off
Get ready for an exciting grilling contest where participants will showcase their skills. There will also be tasty offerings at our tasting booths for everyone to enjoy for a small donation of $5!
Event Details for Participants
- Entry Fee - $20
- Meat will be provided to participants - this year Pork Butt
- Meat needs to be picked up at Bear Schoolhouse and entry fee paid
- Friday, October 25th
- 6 to 7 pm
- Participants can marinate or prep Pork Butt at home night prior to cook-off
- Meat must be cooked at the Bear Schoolhouse
- Participants must bring their own setup including tables, cooker - for example: smoker, roaster, bbq
- Participants can share their space including cooker
- Power will be provided

- Participants may arrive as early as 4 am
- Meat must be turned in for judging by 2 pm
- Breakfast will be provided to all participants the morning of the cook-off.
- Judging will be done by all attendees.
- Prizes will be awarded to the attendees' top choice.
